Methodology

The work to be performed by our attorney in connection with your assignment is intended to achieve the result agreed upon with you when the assignment was accepted. To this end, the lawyer in question will make every effort, but the lawyer cannot guarantee that the result will be achieved.

The lawyer will have to follow the rules that apply to lawyers in his work. This includes keeping you informed of developments and progress in your case. Except for special circumstances, you will be informed in writing.

You are therefore asked to keep us informed of relevant changes such as address changes or change of phone number. You should also notify the appropriate attorney if there are any relevant changes that relate to the substance of your case.

When your case has come to a conclusion, the case will be closed. You will be notified of this in writing. The file is then stored in an external archive. Should you wish to request the file after archiving, there is a charge of €27.50 (per file). Five years after the file is closed, the file will be destroyed.

Our office will serve you to the best of our ability. Should you nevertheless be dissatisfied with the quality of service, please discuss this with the lawyer in question.

Should you be harmed by a professional error by one of our lawyers, we are insured for our professional liability. The amount to be paid out is limited to a maximum of the amount paid out by the insurance company in the relevant case. It should be noted that if a negative result has been achieved despite compliance with the obligation of effort, this does not mean that there has been professional misconduct and thus liability.
